1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Description of Service

Career Shortcuts provides:

• Searchable cheat sheets of keyboard and character shortcuts for common apps
• Favorites, copy-to-clipboard, and quick-search tools
• Optional cross-device sync for favorites when signed in

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Use the service lawfully
• Not upload harmful, illegal, or misleading content

4. AI Disclaimer

Career Shortcuts does not currently produce AI-generated content. If AI features are added in the future, any AI-generated content:

• May not be accurate or complete
• Should be reviewed before use

We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI output.

5. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining account security and all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse.

6. Pricing & Billing

Career Shortcuts is offered as a single digital product. There is only one product: the Career Shortcuts unlock.

• 7-day free trial: You may use Career Shortcuts for 7 days at no cost. No payment is charged during the free trial.
• $0.99 lifetime unlock: A one-time $0.99 purchase unlocks lifetime access. Payment is processed securely through Google Play when you purchase from inside the Android app. The price you are charged at checkout is the final price; local taxes and currency conversion may apply.

There is no recurring subscription tied to the lifetime unlock. If a recurring plan is offered in the future, it will be clearly disclosed before purchase.

7. Cancellation

If you are using the 7-day free trial, you can stop using the service at any time before purchasing. Because no payment is charged during the trial, there is nothing to cancel and no refund is needed.

The $0.99 lifetime unlock is a one-time charge, so there is no recurring subscription to cancel.

8. Refund Policy

You may request a refund for the $0.99 lifetime unlock within 7 days of purchase:

• Purchased in the Android app (Google Play): you may self-request a refund directly through the Google Play Store within 48 hours of purchase. Beyond 48 hours but within 7 days of purchase, email stevenk@careersolutionsfortoday.com with your Google Play order ID and we will process the refund through Google Play. Upon refund, your lifetime unlock will be revoked.

After 7 days, lifetime unlock purchases are generally non-refundable because access to the digital service has already been provided. Refunds may still be approved for duplicate charges, billing errors, or technical issues that prevent reasonable access.

9. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of any content you create. We retain ownership of the platform, design, and technology. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content to provide the service.

10. Acceptable Use

You may not:

• Use the service for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the platform
• Abuse any features or automate misuse
• Upload malicious or harmful content

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

12. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for job outcomes or hiring decisions, errors in content, or loss of data or interruptions. Use the service at your own risk.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use means acceptance of updates.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We also automatically collect:

• Device and browser information

• Usage data (pages visited, actions taken)

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and operate Career Shortcuts
• Sync your favorites and preferences across devices
• Process the one-time lifetime unlock purchase
• Improve platform performance and user experience
• Communicate important updates or support responses

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored using secure cloud services, including:

• Firebase Authentication
• Firestore (database)

We implement reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no system is 100% secure.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active, as needed to provide services, and as required for legal, tax, or billing obligations. Deleted content may remain in backups for a limited period.

5. Account & Data Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data. Deleted data is permanently removed from our active systems; however, residual copies may persist in backups for a limited period and data required for legal, tax, or billing obligations may be retained as permitted by law.

6. Your Rights

You may:

• Access your data
• Update or correct your information
• Delete your account and associated data
• Request a copy of your data

7. Cookies & Tracking

We may use cookies or similar technologies to maintain sessions, improve functionality, and analyze usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

8. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party providers, including:

• Google Play — payment processing for the in-app lifetime unlock (Google Privacy)
• Firebase (Google) — authentication and database (Firebase Privacy)

These providers have their own privacy policies.

9. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with service providers needed to operate the platform, when required by law, or to protect rights and prevent fraud.

10. Children's Privacy

This service is not intended for users under 18.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
